This past Wednesday I went to New York City to the Web 2.0 Expo at the Javits Center. It was a great event. New this year, was the Podcamp Foundations Web2Open Unconference that included free of charge. Among the great people who I met was Bre of Makerbot fame and the Social Media God Chris Brogan (also the author of Trust Agents with Julien Smith).

The keynotes on Wednesday were great. Baratunde Thurston of Onion News Network fame, Gina Trapani (Google Wave Guru, Lifehacker Founder and This Week in Google Co-host) and Anil Dash spoke.
